Welcoming words from the Mayor of Sort

As the Mayor of Sort, it is a great honour and pleasure to give my welcome to our town, capital of El Pallars Sobirà, to both, paddlers of the 27th edition of the Wildwater World Championships, as well as all technicians and supporters.

You are visiting the official website of the Wildwater World Championships, where you will find the competition programme and a lot of useful information, apart from all leisure activities parallel to the championship, to offer you an insight of the area, our history, culture and its reality.

It is not the first time the town of Sort is organizing a high-level international competition. Over the last 50 years, these events have always been held among the incomparable natural environment that surrounds the river La Noguera Pallaresa.

We hope you will enjoy the championship, the environment, the facilities and our hospitality.
